UPDATE: Big Island police reported Monday that 17-year-old Simeko Kosme, who was reported as a runaway, was located Friday in good health in Hilo.
Kosme was last seen July 4 in Hilo, and is believed to frequent the Hilo and Puna districts, according to the Hawaii Police Department. She is described as being 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 147 pounds, having a dark complexion with black hair and brown eyes.
